Doors are an architectural element that catches the eye. A colorful door makes an anonymous house interesting, an old door makes you want to discover what lies behind it...the door is somewhat the personality of the house, the first impression.

On this washi, I have represented 5 different doors, in a row. I found myself often using it on journal pages that chronicle holidays or weekends in Italy and Europe because it captures the essence of the old town streets of many cities.
